During my last vacation in a Punta Cana casino, I found a different format of the popular Cleopatra slot machine. This Cleopatra slot was electromechanical, different from the classic versions I played at Las Vegas and UK casinos. The gameplay of this version of Cleopatra slot machine is very simple but still offering an interesting bonus round. The game features the Cleopatra Bonus which is started when you get 3 or more scatter symbols(Sphinx). The bonus round is pretty much the same of the original Cleopatra slot and awards 15 free spins which can be re-triggered during the bonus round. You can play up to 165 free spins in this slot machine. During the free spins round, all winnings are multiplied by 3X. The Sphinx symbol (scatter) pays for any 2 (2 credits), any 3 (5 credits), any 4 (20 credits) and 5 (100 credits). When you get one or more Cleopatra symbol in a winning combination, your winnings will be doubled. The maximum payout potential in this version of Cleopatra slot machine is 50,000 credits which is awarded when you get 5 Cleopatra symbols on any played line, and betting the BetMax button.

I started playing on Cleo with a low winning streak. I was down a little bit on my initial balance but still winning some small payouts. I was decided to stay at Punta Cana casino for all night, so, I was free to play for many hours there. I was playing 3 lines and eventually switched to 5 paylines. My stake was low, I was playing just like a penny slot machine player when I decided to take a break and check other games. There was a limited variety of slots but still found some classics.
