In December we published a news about Poker Stars looking to acquire an Atlantic City casino.

New the online poker giant is ready to sign another partnership agreement and this time with a land-based casino in Spain called Casino Gran Madrid.

Poker Stars is the largest online poker operator and is signing really interesting partnerships. Though we don't heard any news about the negotioation with the Atlantic Club Casino in Atlantic City, Poker Stars has deals with the Circus Groupe in Belgium, Macau's Grand Waldo and the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square, London.

If the deal with the Spanish casino and Atlantic City casino is done, the group will have a good presence in terresterial casinos.

Poker Stars looking to acquire Atlantic City casino

Poker Stars, one of the largest online poker websites, is looking to buy a terrestrial casino in Atlantic City in anticipation of the legalization of internet gambling in New Jersey.

The land-based casino, in this case, is Atlantic Club Casino which reports only $110 million last year, and Poker Stars have interest in acquiring through the investment group Colony Capital.

The bill to legalize online gambling in the Garden State can become law in this end of 2012.

Poker Stars will operate in USA again - Poker Stars to pay players owed by Full Tilt Poker

A three way agreement between Poker Stars, Full Tilt Poker and the US Department of Justice (DOJ) will result in Poker Star to operate in the US in a near future.
The deal in the agreement is to pay all players owed by Full Tilt Poker, including USA players and players outside the US.
Poker Stars published a release informing the acquisition of Full Tilt Poker and the payment of all its players in a period of three years which the amount can be around U$ 547 million.

With this agreement with the US Department of Justice (DOJ), both Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker brands can apply to US gaming authorities to offer real money poker as soon the US regulates online poker activity by real money.

Poker Stars will re-launch Full Tilt Poker in several markets with a new management team. The Full Tilt Poker operations will continue to be based in Dublin.
