I still playing this classic arcade game. I never get bored! Galaga became a huge success in arcade houses alongside Pac-Man and then later the unbeatable Donkey Kong. In some versions, Galaga and PacMan were available in the same cabinet in a "dual game" arcade machine. Then, after a player inserts a coin, the icons for the two games appear on the screen and the player could select which one to play. I found this arcade machine at New York airport (JFK) in 2009. Not sure if the game is still there.
It all started in an Arcade
The first time I played Galaga in an arcade house I fell in love with this fantastic video game. The playability is very good and the challenge round was my favorite part of the game.
I remember that a lot of good players were playing a good strategy to get the most of the challenge round. They stayed in a position where they can do it perfectly well, getting 100% of kills.
Different Versions
You can find different versions of Galaga video game to play online, totally unclocked. You can play with the online emulator which is from the original game launched by Namco, or the Atari version. You can also find a version in Flash to play instantly.
The Flash version doesn`t include the challenge round (unfortunately) but allows you to submit your score. But this version of the game is in HTML5 which is much better since Flash games are now obsolete.
