Nintendo Game & Watch Donkey Kong 2 was released in March 7th, 1983 and sold more than 1 million copies worldwide.
The story in the Donkey Kong 2 Game & Watch is a little bit different than the first edition of Donkey Kong Game&Watch. Now, Donkey Kong was captured by Mario and the main character in this edition is Donkey Kong Jr.
The mission of Donkey Kong Jr is go up all the way this multi-screen Game & Watch to release his daddy.
To do it, you will need to control Donkey Kong Jr and avoid birds, jaws, and sparks along the way.
Gameplay
As soon you start you need to jump to throw the key to the next level. Then you will need to go to the next level and throw the key again. Jump and move Donkey Kong Jr to avoid everything coming in your way.
DON`T FORGET TO JUMP AND THROW THE KEY TO THE UPPER LEVELS!!
As soon as you reach the last level, you need to throw the key for the last time (jump) and see on which padlock the key is. Go up using the chain correspondent and release the padlock.
Now, different than the first version of DonkeyKong, you will need to do all the way back to the first floor and start all over again. As you can see, the gameplay on Donkey Kong 2 Game&Watch is a little more difficult.
You will need to do it in the 4 padlocks to release Donkey Kong.
Donkey Kong 2 Points & Extras
The maximum points possible on Donkey Kong 2 is 999 points. When you get 300 points, you will get 1 extra life (in case you have any miss). If you don`t have any miss, all points will be multiplied by 2x until a miss is marked.
You will get 1 point when jump the jaws and sparks. When you unlock a padlock, you can get from 5 to 15 points depending on the time you take to do it.
When you make all the way down to throw the key again with no misses, you will get 5 points.
With 3 misses, the game is over.
Finally, when you release Donkey Kong, you will get 20 points.
The most common mistake is to forget to throw the key to the upper level.
