In the beautiful hotel lobby, you have to take the stairs down to access the casino at Sofitel Montevideo Carrasco. The first level of the casino is full of
slot machines and
electronic roulette games. The variety here is not so good, so you must go downstairs to find the big variety of casino games available.
Going to the lowest level, you will find a massive amount of slots and table games. You can play card games like Blackjack and Baccarat. There are only electronic roulette games. Unfortunately, I didn't find Video Poker machines.
In terms of slot machines, you will find a massive collection of games from the classic ones to the most modern options. There are popular

I visited the
casino at Sofitel Montevideo after lunch and it was almost empty. Pretty much all slot machines were empty and I could pick my favorite ones with no problem. I played great classic slots like Wheel of Fortune, Diamond Queen, Mega Bucks, Buffalo Grand, Dancing Drums, Chilli Hot, and many others. It was funny hours playing very
entertaining casino games.
Be aware that you must deposit Uruguayan pesos. You can exchange US dollars or other currencies to insert Uruguayan pesos in the machines. If I remember well, there are only 5 machines that can be played with US dollars, all the rest must be played in local currency.
You can ask the

My experience at Restaurant 1921 was for lunch. We arrived at 1 pm and were promptly directed to a very special table with an ocean view. The venue is
very well decorated with comfortable chairs, and beautiful decorations, and the architecture is breathtaking. The imposing chandelier in the middle of the venue makes the final touch.
The lunch menu of
Restaurant 1921 at Sofitel Montevideo is very straightforward. You will have 3 options for entrances, 3 options for the main dishes, and 3 options for desserts. The main course will cost you around
U$33 per person which is very fair when we talk about haute-cuisine.
After our selection, the plates started to arrive very fast. The presentation was great. Everything is
state-of-the-art. The portions were very good and the quality of the food is excellent. We can't forget the staff at Restaurant 1921 that was
very friendly and professional. The staff really makes a difference and made our experience better. They will do everything for you to feel comfortable in the venue and enjoy your gastronomic experience.
