Las Vegas and here you can check all information and news from CES. It was 4 amazing days in Las Vegas checking the innovation made possible by technology.
CES 2019 was, just like past editions, a huge success made by over 4,500 exhibitors showing nothing less than tech innovations. Over 180,000 attendees enjoyed every latest trend during the
CES in Las Vegas. The most interesting thing was the presence for both global brands to visionary startups.
Some of the most respected names in technology were present in this CES edition in Las Vegas including AMD, AT&T Communications, IBM, LG and Verizon. The CTA leaderboard ranks the countries based on their support on innovation projects. The 2019 International Innovation Scorecard was released by CTA during the event and also announced an investment of $10 million for selected startups and entrepreneurs. Another interesting book by CTA was released during the edition of CES in Las Vegas - the book Ninja Future caters for the important skills you must focus to stay competitive in the fast changes we face every year.
5G
5G was widely discussed during the CES 2019. "5G will change everything - 5G is the promise of so much more than what we have seen from wireless technology," said Hans Vestberg, CEO, Verizon, during his keynote and John Donovan, CEO of AT&T Communications, about the launch of its 5G Evolution network.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence was also another attraction during the CES 2019 in Las Vegas. AI will change our lives and interesting keynotes was presented by the IBM Chairman, President and CEO Ginni Rometty "world's greatest natural resource," to use the innovation of smart cities to health care, transportation to robotics. Examples of AI and Blockchain was showed by the Delta CEO Ed Bastian and Walmart EVP of Food Charles Redfield.
Cars
Eleven car manufacturers was in the exposition making CES Las Vegas a big attraction for the car business sector and car enthusiasts. We have seen Bell Helicopter and its air taxi and Harley-Davidson with its electric motorcycle. Self-drive cars are being projected and this innovation is set to make the traffic smoother and avoid accidents while enables accessibility.
Sports
The innovation in Sports could be seen in the CES Sports Zone with exhibitors showing solutions for sports venue, training sessions, immersive content to take sports enthusiasts to the next level when it comes to play and watch sports events. The live panels discussed the ways social media can engage sports fans and Gamespot eSports truck was also present with gaming stations with professional e-Gamers showing its video game skills.
Artificial Intelligence on Marketing
The C Space was discussing the future of brand marketing, entertainment industry talking on how the AI can be applied and change the marketing with client's engagement. Content creators, digital influencers, Hollywood, Media & Advertising industry were all together exploring the marketing in a whole new view.
Startups
The innovation was also present in the Eureka Park where 1200 startup companies from 50 countries were showing their projects aiming to attract investments. This CES area already launched successful startups and featured a pitch competition to reveal the next big innovation business.
Health
Hundreds of Doctors and health professionals were discussing Digital Health and the latest advances in health care. The Disruptive Innovations in Health Care conference was a huge success and the innovation in the sector could be expected from different angles. The conference also offered Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
Environment
There was interesting technologies and innovations in sustainability working with water, energy, air, temperature, security, food. Pure and drinking water was widely discussed by companies like Yolk and Zero Mass Water. The goal is to produce pure water and reduce the carbon footprint and at the same time help developing nations that don't have drinking water.
Another good CES event in Las Vegas full of innovation and business working to change the world. It was a pleasure to attend CES Las Vegas again and hopefully, we are going to repeat this every single year to keep updated on last trends on important sectors.
