Check awesome Samba video below this post ! I was invited last Friday by my friend Princess Carina Daiana to check her samba school rehearsal for the upcoming carnival season in Brazil. We arrived there around 11pm and I was really impressed with the huge structure at Protegidos da Princesa Isabel Samba School . The vibe in that place is intense. It's a blast !!! Drummers, dancers in their fancy dresses, musicians, supervisors, all together working very hard on choreography, samba music and sure... lot's of samba dance to get ready for the brazilian carnival which is around the corner. They are very well organized and the environment is pure fun. All the staff and audience (mostly familly, friends, fans and samba enthusiasts) attending the rehearsal are very friendly and the goal of all this people is show the best during the carnival season.
The rehearsal begun and the combination of drummers and musicians it's unbelievable and all this vibe will take controll of you in just few minutes. This is definitely a must-see thing if you are planning your trip to Brazil.
I was impressed with the organization ... it's exactly the same thing of a night club. You pay an entrance fee to enter the rehearsal and you can purchase drinks inside such as beers, water, soda while you're enjoying the samba school performing live. It's difficult to write a review of a samba school performing, for this reason I've got a video to show you what I'm talking about.
You ought visit some samba school to check what I'm takling about. It's definitely a fun thing to start off the weekend, specially if you go with your friends. Below the samba video, I posted some pics too.
