Nintendo Game & Watch Mario Bros was launched in 1983 and in my opinion, is one of the best Nintendo Game & Watch released with funny and fast gameplay. I used to play this handheld game in my childhood and I continue to play nowadays when I got some time. This game sold easily 1 million copies worldwide.
The theme here is very cool: you control both Mario and Luigi in a bottling plant on a very fast and intense production floor. The goal is to load the bottle cases through a packing machine at various levels and load the truck. In the beginning, the game appears to be easy as you have only 3 or 4 bottle cases to work with but as soon you reach a certain level you will have to handle numerous cases and the gameplay will be extremely fast.
The controls are simple at Nintendo Game & Watch Mario Bros: up and down for both sides (Luigi and Mario) and you have to take all cases to the level above in the packing machine until loading to the truck. Every time a bottle case is dropped, you miss, and when you complete 3 misses the game is over.
For each bottle case taken to the next level of the packing machine you make 1 point and when the truck is full ( 8 bottle cases ) you make 10 points.

Game-Play
In Mario Bros. you actually control 2 characters, Mario and Luigi. They are working in a bottling plant, loading cases on a conveyor belt and onto trucks.
Game differences
Game B requires more coordination, technique and timing.
Trivia
The highest possible score is 999. When the score reaches 300 all misses are canceled. If there are no misses scores are worth double until you get a miss.

Points
Each case loaded on a conveyor get 1 point. Each truck loaded with 8 cases gets 10 points.
Misses
When a case is dropped the foreman gets angry and you score a miss. With 3 misses (shown by 3 Faces in the upper left corner of the right screen), the game is over.
Other notices
If you hold in Game A or Game B key the highest previous score will be displayed. If the unit is left as it is after game is over, time display will appear in about five minutes. A game is not interrupted even if the TIME key or other game keys are depressed during game playing. Pressing ACL switch or removing batteries erases high score from memory.
