WSOP action on Pacific PokerCasino-Billionaire---www.casinobillionaire.co.uk
Hats off to 888 poker team member Alexandre Gomes, who did what youre supposed to do with a generous WSOP package from 888.com: he won. Gomes pulled $770,540 of first prize money from this years World Series of Poker $2,000 buy-in event, becoming the first Brazilian to win a WSOP Bracelet.
Lead by Shane Warne, the international 888 team (including 2 Argentineans, 6 Australians, 1 Belgian, 3 Canadians, 1 from Holland, 1 Estonian, 1 Finn, 3 French,3 Germans, 1 Irish, 5 Italians, 1 Serbian, 1 Slovenian, 1 Spaniard, 3 Swedes, and 3 from the UK) earned lots of positive TV coverage over the course of the WSOP, from the July 1st private 888 poker team party in Vegas, through the Cricket friendly the next day at Sunset Park, and all throughout the Ante up for Africa poker charity event. ESPN were also constantly filming Shanes play at the tables, so 888 got good international coverage in the WSOP broadcast itself.
