Online Casino Turns Property Investor
The residents of a string of Las Vegas condos may well be unaware of their newest neighbour, but it appears that they soon will. Monkey Bet, an online sports book, casino and poker room, has recently completed negotiations to purchase land in the area and has set a tentative 2008 opening for a live online casino gambling establishment on the site.
However, the sale has proved controversial as over 250 condo units, known as Chalet Vegas, presently occupy the adjacent space where the online casinos gambling firm intends to build. The proposals have been met with stiff opposition by Chalet Vegas’ management, who state that Monkey Bet will need to negotiate purchase agreements with the individual condo owners to lawfully obtain the land.
Chalet Vegas staff were especially concerned to learn that the online casino, which owns two casinos in Blackpool and buildings in New York, had previously stated its intention to build Nevada's largest gambling hall on the land. However Nevada Gaming Control Board member Mark Clayton has hastened to offer reassurance to residents, saying that the Board is unaware of any of Monkey Bet's plans. He also indicated that the issue of online casino gambling firms affiliating with Nevada firms would be an unsuitable association.

Charity Championship gets Online Casino Sponsorship

PokerShare.com Gives Away Over 8,000
PokerShare.com, launched their brand new site, CasinoShare.com, last Friday, giving away eight thousand gallons of gas to fuel-hungry New Yorkers. The continued growth of the gaming industry is reflected in the parallel expansion of Neteller, whose latest figures show how lucrative the industry can be.

Technology Heads Move On
Party Gaming has announced that Anurag Dikshit, the company's operations director and technology guru, will step down from the board to focus on the development of new products. In another surprise announcement, marketing director, Vikrant Bhargava, will also step down from the board. Endemol UK have announced the launch of a new digital media division which they promise will create multi-platform gaming entertainment.

Mobile Online Casino Gaming Comes To Vodafone
A fully interactive mobile casino service on Vodafone live is due to be launched within the next month. The mobile company have struck a deal with Gaming Corporation, the owners of gambling.com and casino.co.uk.
