WatchandWager is now licensed to operate online betting in all thoroughbred horse racing in California. Thoroughbred Owners of California awarded Watch and Wager a contractual approval in which California residents may bet online in horse racing across the United States and international jurisdictions.
This license makes Watch and Wager the Advanced Deposit Wagering company throughout 2014 approved by the California Horse Racing Board and open a new market accepting Californian punters interested in bet on thoroughbred horse racing.
In this deal, a percentage of all money wagering by Californian gamblers will go to Californian Racing benefits.
"Being approved by the TOC really is a big deal for WatchandWager.
The California Racing market has been dominated by only three main ADW providers, and we are grateful to the TOC and CHRB in recognizing our investment, and wielding its influence to allow us into the market.
For Watch and Wager to be approved and operating as a first mover in the Golden State, will not only positively impact our business as a licensed Advanced Deposit Wagering operator, but also put WatchandWager in a very attractive strategic position as the debate regarding online poker is widely expected to hot up in California early this year." , said Ed Comins, president of Watch and Wager.
