Guns n´ Roses bootlegs LP

There are two gems I’ve found over the internet and just grab it to my private collection. These two Guns n’ Roses bootlegs called “November Rain” (double vinyl with studio rehearsal outtakes) and “Bad Boys, Great Noise” (double vinyl live in Pasadena) are really rare and it’s hard to find any copy available to purchase.

I remember the first time I heard about these rarest Guns n’ Roses bootlegs… It was mid of 80′s and the specialized shops on rare LP’s was selling tape records of the most wanted bootlegs. This guys bought bootlegs from the US and Europe and was selling tape records (in mid of 80′s it was the only way to get rare records).

I checked the bootleg catalog and found a dozen of Guns n’ Roses bootlegs, all double vinyl… some live gig’s, others live rehearsals and others featuring rarest unreleased studio tracks.
Guns n’ Roses just launched their very first LP and it was a blast ! All radio stations, MTV and other music channels and programs was all about Guns n’ Roses… and then I think: how this guys already have a bunch of double vinyl bootlegs with only one album released ? There should be some unreleased tracks on it and I want it !!!

And there we go… me and my classmate Daniel go straight to that shops and our order was clear.. a copy of the double vinyl with studio outtakes (in this case November Rain bootleg) and a copy of the double vinyl live “Bad Boys, Great Noise”.

Done ! We went to school with the heads up with the rarest Guns n Roses bootlegs to impress our friends that even know what a bootleg record is.

Now you know these two Guns n’ Roses bootlegs are very special for me. It was in my childhood, when a bootleg LP worth a fortune and I had barely enough money to order a tape record of them.

Today these Guns n’ Roses bootlegs still worth a fortune, not only a money fortune but a special value of owning some of the rarest Guns n’ Roses bootlegs.

Guns n’ Roses was a money machine since its first album was launched… and the invasion of a dozen of bootlegs with the rarest tracks made this band really special for me in my childhood, and so is today

Space Invaders is a retro arcade game created by Toshihiro Nishikado in 1978 and launched by TAITO Japan.

Space Invaders is no doubt one of the most popular arcade games played by everyone from 1978 until these days. It was an overwhelming success in Japan where a huge number of Arcade places opened only to offer Space Invaders games to enthusiasts willing to toss a large amount on money and spend hours and hours playing.

There is a curiosity about the creation of Space Invaders game, which was developed using soldiers instead aliens in the first time. Then the crew though this kind of game could encourage persons to kill humans and they decided to replace the humans on game to aliens. (why do this guys will think about GTA and other modern games ??? )
Not enough, there are dozen attempts to ban Space Invaders game because this kind of game are “encouraging violence” in small comunities around the globe. Also, a large number of youngs was reported stealing money from this parents only to have money to play Space Invaders game on Arcade places.
All this was in early 80′s and I’m sure this guys knows Space Invaders is an inoffensive game they tried to ban if compared to modern games we have today on the shelves.

Space Invaders game was launched before Pinball games and other famous games launched. It was the first arcade game licensed for ATARI video game and then in all other plataforms and video games.

Space Invaders game generated millions of dollars in revenues through the arcade game, video games licenses, merchandises, and many other things using the brand and today is easily found online to play instantly in millions of online game websites.

Space Invaders has followed by several sequels (Space Invaders Part II, Space Invaders Deluxe, Super Space Invaders 91) and still a huge success between game lovers and retro game fans.

Pink Floyd – Dark Side of the MOO

THE ALBUM “THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOO” IS A SUPER RARE LP CONTAINING RARE AND UNRELEASED STUDIO TRACKS

Pink Floyd bootleg - Dark Side of the Moo

A really hard to find Pink Floyd LP with the title “Dark Side of the Moo” … please read it again carefully: The name of the album is The Dark Side of the Moo which is nothing to do with their original masterwork.

This bootleg, The Dark Side of the Moo , is a collection of studio songs most in its original records including rarest unreleased songs.
The sleeve is quite interesting without any information unless the pictures of cows in front and back. The cows are in the same style of Atom Heart Mother. Actualy the bootleg The Dark Side of the Moo was released in few weeks before the “Dark Side of the Moon” launch.

In terms of songs you will find a bunch of interesting Pink Floyd songs including some tracks for the Syd Barrett era such as “Candy and a Currant Bun” and “Apples and Oranges” … Other great songs are “It Would Be So Nice”, “Point Me at the Sky” and a different version of “Interstellar Overdrive”.

I can listen for this really hard to find Pink Floyd LP from the start to end and enjoying every single song on it. This rare LP have an extremely value for me as I already had a tape copy of “THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOO” (I got it from a rare LP shop in mid of 80′s, and they didn’t sell the LP, just record in tapes) and today I found it available over the internet and just got my own copy (there are only 500 copies worldwide)

Probably you already heard mentions of all songs on “THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOO” bootleg in old Pink Floyd interviews and you have all of them compiled and ready to listen here.

Conclusion: “THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOO” is a bootleg really hard to find and you may think you can assemble your own copy downloading the songs from other Pink Floyd CD’s (I already made this) but believe me, there’s not the same thing of owning this gem because some versions you will only find in this rare vinyl… and even you can record a CD or download a copy, you actualy don’t have one of the most rare Pink Floyd bootleg called “THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOO” which has only 500 copies.

Led Zeppelin unknown rare LP

Led Zeppelin fans around the globe, I need your help to identify anything about a rare LP I have for years. There´s no cover, the cover is completely blank and there are any information on this rare Led Zeppelin vinyl. I´ve got this one in the 90´s in one of the most LP´s store in Porto Alegre Brazil (south of brazil). I will take some time and post more rare LP´s here.

I don´t have any idea about the name of this record, date of the gig, release and others. There are good songs in this LP such as Immigrant Song, Black Dog, Since I’ve been Loving You, That’s the Way, Communication Breakdown, Going to California, Dazed and Confused and many more… Below is a sample of this rare Led Zeppelin vinyl and if anyone knows a thing or two about this just drop me a line on twitter @billionaireweb

I just read an interesting article about a survey that found that online gambling is most appealing to young women. They surveyed 3,000 women and between 16 to 25% said they would play online Blackjack, online Craps, online Baccarat, online Roulette and poker.

40% of women play online poker compared to 13% of men. One in 4 people under 30 y/o told they would gamble online and this rate fell to 1 in 10 for people aged 30 to 49.

Iron Maiden – British Thunder (rare vinyl)

Hello to all Iron Maiden fans around the globe…. This post is dedicated to ALL MAIDEN FANS !!
Today I will show you a really rare Iron Maiden LP only released in Brazil in 1984.

This Iron Maiden bootleg is quite rare as it was released only in Brazil with 500 copies and it includes the singles which wasn’t released in that country. The only singles released in Brazil was Aces High and Maiden Japan and the brazilian EMI decided not launch any other.
So, an Iron Maiden fan in Sao Paulo made this big favor for all Maiden fans and launched the best of Iron Maiden singles in one LP called British Thunder.

The cover of Iron Maiden – British Thunder seems to be a copy taken from an European rock magazine and the picture is from “The Beast on the Road Tour” as you can see below.

I’ve got my fist copy of this record in 1985 and then, years later I exchange it in some rare vinyl store. Now I found it online and got it back to me… It’s all mine

Mickey Mouse Nintendo Game & Watch was released in October , 1981 and sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide.

You have to control Mickey Mouse with a basket. There are 4 hens in each corner of the game leaving eggs all the time, and the eggs are rolling down through the shelves. All you have to do is move Mickey Mouse to catch all eggs in his basket.
If the eggs fall on the floor you will miss one. Sometimes Minnie Mouse appears in the game and if you miss an egg while Minnie Mouse is in the game your miss will be scored as half-miss.
As your points increases, the eggs will start rolling down faster and will slow down every 100 points you make.

You will score 1 point for each egg caught.

Donkey Kong JR is another awesome Nintendo Game & Watch handheld game launched in October, 1982 and sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide.

In this game you control Donkey Kong JR to rescue his papa, Donkey Kong, which is locked in a cage. Donkey Kong JR have to avoid spanjaws and birds attacking all the time and move to the edge of the cage. Then, Donkey Kong JR have to jump perfectly to grab the swinging key to unlock 1 part of the cage. Donkey Kong JR will need repeat all this way 4 times until get Donkey Kong completely released from the Mario’s cage… then the game starts all over again.
To avoid the attacks from snapjaws and birds Donkey Kong JR can jump, hold on to a vine and drop a fruit on them.
The maximum score at Donkey Kong JR Nintendo Game & Watch is 999 and when you reach 300 points all misses are cancelled, and if there are no misses, double points will be awarded until you get a miss.

Mario has Donkey Kong locked up in a cage and Donkey Kong Junior goes to help his papa. He has to evade snapjaws and attacking birds and open the cage with 4 keys.

Oil Panic Nintendo Game & Watch

Oil Panic is the first Multi Screen series Game & Watch released in May 1982.
The game is a Oil Station with three flors. On the first floor two customers are waiting to fuel up.
On the 3rd floor there is an oil leak and you have to control the worker to left and right to catch the oil drops in his bucket.
The bucket holds only 3 drops of oil then you have to move to the varanda and drop the oil to the oil drum on the second floor holded by the station boss.
You have to drop the oil in the right side, where the boss is waiting with the drum otherwise the oil will drop on the clients and you will miss one.

This handheld game requires a lot of techinque and timing. You get a miss every time you fail to catch the oil drop (oil falls on the floor) or when the bucket already have 3 oil drops, or when you drop the oil through the varanda and the boss is not waiting below you (the oil will falls on waiting customers).

Two customers are waiting at gas station to fuel up. Meanwhile, an oil leak from a pipe on the third floor is causing confusion. Move station helper left and right to catch the leaks in his bucket. Oil falls in drops. Helper’s bucket holds three drops than you have to move helper out to varanda to pour the oil in his bucket into the Boss’s oil drum on the second floor. Be careful not to drop oil on the waiting customers.

The upper screen is a zoom-up of the third floor of the gas station where the Helper is. All three floors of the gas station appear on lower screen.

BALL Nintendo Game & Watch

BALL Game & Watch is a handheld game for Nintendo and it’s the very first nintendo game watch, released in April 1980.
You have to control the juggler arms using the buttons left and right by position the hands under the balls and keep them on the air.
In the GAME A you will play with 2 balls (1 point for each ball caught) while in the GAME B 3 ball will be on game (10 points for each ball caught).
The ball speed will increase gradually as the score increases and every 100 points (GAME A) and 1000 points (GAME B) the speed returns to slow temporarily.
If you play BALL Nintendo Game & Watch in high temperature ambients you may experience the ball overlapping when the speed is up.

GAME A
In this game 2 balls move in the air. To proceed the game, it’s necessary to receive the balls by the skillful control of the juggler’s hands using both left and right buttons.

- control the juggler hands using the left and right buttons
- each time a ball is received you will score 1 point in GAME A and 10 pints on GAME B
- when the ball falls and cracked the game will over.

Though the speed of the ball increases gradually, it will slow down temporarily every 1000 points. If the speed of the ball becomes faster than a certain degree such as 280 points or more on GAME A or 2800 points on GAME B the balls will oberlap with each other under a high ambient temperature. Thus, the balls may appear to be overlapped.

Parachute Nintendo Game & Watch

Parachute Nintendo Game & Watch was released in June 1981 and sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide.

Skydivers with their parachutes are jumping out of a helicopter all the time. You have to control the boat left and right to save the skydivers.
In the game B, sometimes the skydivers are caught in trees and stay there swinging for some seconds until continue falling.
The maximum score is 999 and when you reach 200 and 500 points all misses are cancelled.
Sometimes you can handle with up to 10 skydivers at the same time.

When you miss a skydiver he will be eaten by a shark.

GAME A
Skydivers come parachuting down over shark-infested waters and lifeboat tries to catch them.
1 – press the GAME A key and the highest previous score will be displayed.
2 – try to catch skydivers moving the boat left or right
3 – one point is awarded for each skydiver caught by the lifeboat
4 – when a skydiver falls into the ocean he is attacked by sharks and you miss one.
5 – when player reaches a bonus socre (200 or 500 points) any miss marks indicated at the time are erased with a fanfare and game continues.

Skydivers come down one at a time in the begining of the game. Then come down 2, 3,… as score increases.
Up to 10 skydivers will be on screen at same time.

Pinball Nintendo Game & Watch

This is a pocket version of the famous pinball arcade games. Pinball Nintendo Game & Watch was launched on December , 1993 and sold less than 250,000 copies worldwide.

Pinball Nintendo Game & Watch has 2 flippers on bottom screen and 2 flipper on top screen. In the game A the game has 3 balls and no extra balls. In the game B you will have only one ball to play and will get one extra ball when reach 10,000 points and additional extra balls for every 20,000 points up, until the maximum of 3 balls in play at the same time.

This is a portable version of the famous arcade pinball machines and it can be carried easily and played anywhere at any time.

Points are awarded according to the point value of the locations where the ball strikes. 500 points will be awarded by striking the 500 point bumpers at the top of the lower screen when flashing.
The maximum score for Pinball Nintendo Game & Watch is 999,900
