The Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics battle in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday at the Staples Center (9:05 pm ET, ABC). This is the 12th time the rivals have met in the NBA Finals, with the Celtics holding a big 9-2 edge.
Rangers host Rays
The AL East-leading Tampa Bay Rays and the Texas Rangers open a three-game set Friday in Dallas (8:05 pm ET, FOX). The Rays will start righthander Wade Davis while the Rangers will go with lefty C.J. Wilson.
Flyers, Blackhawks clash in Stanley Cup Finals
The Philadelphia Flyers and the Chicago Blackhawks square off in pivotal Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Sunday at the United Center (8:05 pm ET, NBC). Game 6, if necessary, will be in Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 9.
